Your town, roughly what you want (a full landscape, a patio, a retaining wall, a lawn conversion or defensible space), and anything that worries you about the site, such as a slope, drainage toward the house or a wash. If you are in an HOA, mention it so we can plan for design review. Photos of the yard or of landscapes you like are welcome but never required.

What happens next
